Job Title: Chief of Philanthropy

About the Role:

The Alliance for Decision Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Philanthropy to lead our fundraising efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial support for our mission and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to meet our annual goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, prospects, and stakeholders to secure major gifts, grants, and corporate sponsorships.
  • Lead and manage a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising targets and goals.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to ensure alignment and support for fundraising efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in fundraising, including major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations, and annual giving campaigns.
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising and leadership roles.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and implement effective fundraising plans.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
