**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Equinox. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a positive experience for our members and guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure that the club and exercise equipment are clean and well-maintained, providing excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
  • Clean the locker room and stock all locker room consumables, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Clean and organize storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor, ensuring that members have access to clean towels at all times.
  • Provide maintenance for all equipment, using equipment appropriately and efficiently.
  • Receive and store all deliveries, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and secured.
  • Assist with special events, providing support and ensuring that all areas are clean and organized.
  • Notify the Maintenance Manager when any rooms or equipment need immediate attention, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly.
  • Provide each member and potential member with the best quality customer service, ensuring a positive experience.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 1 year related experience.
  • High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferred.
  • Ability to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Must be able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment, willing to take on additional tasks with a positive attitude to help out the team/department.
  • Must be able to follow (written and oral) instructions and established procedures.

**Essential Physical Requirements**

  • Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position, which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • As well as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time.
