">Job Responsibilities
">As a Hotel Security Supervisor Leader, you will oversee activities of all Security Office, Employee Entrance and Patrol Officer operations as outlined in the Standards of Performance Manual for Security Officers, perform Security Department training related activities, thoroughly understand all Hotel Emergency Response Procedures and assist in the coordination of all emergency response activities, oversee access control activities at all facility employee entrances, ensure that only authorized individuals enter, maintain visitor sign-in/out logs and issuance of temporary passes to visitors/vendors, oversee inspection of all packages entering and exiting through facility employee entrances, deny access to or removal of unauthorized materials, verify that all materials leaving facilities are accompanied by a completed, signed package removal pass, confiscate and turn over to management, all materials not properly authorized, maintain signature lists of Management personnel authorized to sign package removal passes, supervise/Patrols front of house, back of house and exterior hotel areas, report any safety or security hazards, unacceptable behavior, or suspicious persons to Security Supervisor for direction and resolution, prepare necessary maintenance requests for safety related maintenance requirements, supervise/Monitors CCTV cameras, radio communications, and Fire Control Computers, document all security related issues and assistance provided in appropriate Security reports, oversee lost and found activities in accordance with hotel policies, enforce hotel rules/regulations in accordance with Employee Manual and hotel policy, monitor and ensure compliance to hotel key control policies by all employees, interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, respond to all guest and employee incidents, gather information, secure area if necessary to preserve evidence, investigate breaches in security and guest and employee accidents, question witness' to incidents, examine incident scenes, gather evidence/ data to assist in determination of cause and identification of areas where corrective actions are indicated, perform lock interrogation operations whenever necessary as part of departmental incident investigation, assist in periodic locker/wardrobe bag inspections, assist Director in performance of periodic safety and security inspections, work closely with LHUSE Risk Manager to identify areas of potential loss/liability, assist Director and Risk Manager in development of loss prevention procedures/policies, complete all daily reports in accordance with the Safety Security Manual, operate departmental vehicles to include electric personnel transport vehicles, pick up trucks, bicycles, assist in the distribution of employee paychecks, assist in obtaining materials from Storeroom areas during non-operating hours, ensure that all after hour storeroom entries are documented, and that the reason for entry is indicated and that proper requisitions are obtained for all items removed, assist other hotel employees in applying Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control policies, answer department phone lines in prompt and courteous manner in accordance with all Loews Hotels standards, and perform other duties as assigned.

">Promote and apply teamwork skills at all times, notify appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance, be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees, execute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards, comply with required safety regulations and procedures, attend appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions, maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area, comply with hotel standards, policies and rules, recycle whenever possible, remain current with hotel information and changes, and comply with hotel uniform and grooming standards.
">Qualifications
">Excellent observation, communication, guest service and report writing skills, minimum three + years previous Security supervisory experience in large convention hotel preferred, must be able to successfully complete State Security Guard and CPR/First Aid training, ability to speak, read and write English fluently, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
