We are seeking a highly motivated and creative R&D Intern to join our team at Eden GeoPower Inc. Our company is dedicated to developing innovative solutions for underground energy extraction technologies, aiming to reduce environmental challenges and improve sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing and conducting experiments to evaluate scientific hypotheses and develop new technologies;
  • Collaborate with our team to design and fabricate equipment, data acquisition and control systems, and software development;
  • Analyze data, visualize results, and prepare reports and presentations for projects;
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and solutions for energy extraction technologies.
Requirements
  • Enrolled senior, recent graduate, or graduate student in Civil-Geotechnical Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, or a related field;
  • Familiarity with equipment design, fabrication, and troubleshooting, with expertise in CAD/CAM software;
  • Experience with data acquisition and control systems, and proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab/Python;
  • Strong understanding of fundamental engineering theories, principles, and calculations, with hands-on lab experience in flow, heat, electricity, and stress measurements;
  • Knowledge or prior experience in geomechanical testing, including triaxial systems, permeability measurements, and rock mechanics.
