Job Summary:

As an R&D Engineer, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of experts to drive the development, improvement, and verification of Selux products while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Your Mission:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing Class II IVD systems for the Infectious Disease market, conducting troubleshooting and failure analysis, developing and testing prototypes, and serving as a technical resource for our Field Service organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team to develop Class II IVD systems for the Infectious Disease market.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and failure analysis both independently and with support from external consultants.
  • Develop and test prototypes, conducting experiments to verify concepts and refine designs.
  • Serve as a technical resource for our Field Service organization.
  • Identify areas for product improvement and execute design changes.
  • Author and execute test plans and reports to support ongoing design verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering with 3-5 years working in medical device development.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and techniques and the ability to clearly explain technical ideas and concepts.
  • Experience working in biological or chemistry labs a plus.
  • Experience writing procedures for others to follow.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, willing to take initiative, and demonstrate efficient and effective time management.
