Job Overview

Mosquito Joe of Palm Beach and Tampa Bay is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mosquito Control Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing mosquito control treatment services to residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests
  • Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements
  • Handle pesticides in a safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Follow a route schedule, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer
  • Communicate with customers to discuss additional services that meet customer needs for the most efficient and complete mosquito management
Requirements
  • Valid and current certification/license as required by the state for the commercial application of pesticides (may also qualify to complete the certification/licensing program during initial training)
  • Valid drivers license with a safe driving record
  • Some basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements
