We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Good Samaritan Society - Scotland, SD - FocusOne. As a skilled nursing facility, we provide high-quality care to our patients, and we need a dedicated professional like you to help us achieve this goal.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an LPN with at least 2 years of recent experience in a skilled nursing unit. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Current LPN license in South Dakota
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a skilled nursing unit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
