Medical Care Coordinator

Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Adult Medicine Services Unit at UK Chandler Hospital, you will provide comprehensive care for adult patients with complex needs. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing and documenting patient information, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with physicians to enhance patient outcomes.
About the Position:
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment
- Assess and document patient information, identifying areas of concern and developing strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Train and delegate tasks to Nursing Care Technicians (Nursing Assistants)
- Adhere to University policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements:
- BSN degree from an accredited institution
- At least 1 year of RN experience, preferably in adult medicine
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
