Overview

As a Sales Development Coordinator at Fastenal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our National Accounts, Government, and Industry Specialist sales departments. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional support to outside sales teams, including the management and communication of Sales Enablement resources and content.

This position requires a high level of organization, planning, and prioritization skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. You will be responsible for answering frequent questions regarding customers' contracts, editing and publishing customer-specific information on behalf of National Accounts Sales Representatives, and supporting inbound calls and emails from Fastenal branches.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate sales productivity to reach revenue goals
  • Manage and curate the content and resource library on an internal web-based platform to improve sellers' access to resources and sales collateral
  • Support inbound calls and emails from Fastenal branches and serve as a support center in regard to National Accounts processes
  • Design and edit PowerPoint presentations and data-based visualizations
Requirements
  • Possess or be working towards a degree related to Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field of study
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
  • Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
  • Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
  • Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
  • Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
