We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Waterman. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures, positioning and moving patients, and performing clerical duties.
Responsibilities- Perform all exams using established protocols and facility policy for proper patient identification.
- Screen patients for contrast allergies and educate them concerning the exam.
- Properly screen patients of childbearing age and operate equipment in a safe manner to minimize radiation exposure.
- Practice infection control standards and maintain a clean and organized room.
- Perform basic patient care, including monitoring patient condition, caring for patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Obtain and document patient history and explain procedures.
- Complete required documentation for Radiologist support.
- Associates degree or equivalent two years of experience in a related field.
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
- ARRT certification in Radiography.
- BLS from American Heart Association.
