Overview

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team in the Cath Lab. As a key member of our cardiovascular services department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of technical skills during cardiovascular, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures to provide efficient, comfortable, and safe examinations of patients.
  • Utilize knowledge base to assist with orientation, training, and education of new personnel, and provide training for procedures within their competency.
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement activities to improve patient outcomes, and accurately document and monitor activities as needed.
  • Support quality standards and initiatives set by the department, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Grad or Equiv and 0 years experience
  • Diploma or Certificate: Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Radiology, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapy
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Must possess and maintain one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)], Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Paramedic
