Job SummaryThe Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of fleet equipment at one or more locations, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and strong communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction to technicians to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards, as well as federal and state regulations.
- Plan and schedule repair work to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
- Maintain an ongoing preventive maintenance program to identify trends and address potential issues proactively.
- Collaborate with outside repair facilities to ensure all work meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in the transportation industry, with a strong understanding of safe working practices and OSHA regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of engine, emission systems, transmission, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective solutions to complex issues.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and counsel team members.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement plan and employee stock purchase plan.
