Pay Rate: $20 per hour on W2
The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for counter sales, housekeeping, and quality assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments
- Enter order receipts into our computer system
- Perform quality assurance inspections as needed
- Place received material into proper warehouse storage locations
- Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment
- Prepare bills of lading and express receipts
- Assist with loading trucks
- Prepare local delivery records
- Maintain accurate records of returned material
- Inspect condition of returned material
- Pull stock and return it to the correct location
- Clean warehouse and trucking/parking area
- Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as needed
- Administer preventative maintenance programs for delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment
- Record verbal/written complaints from customers
- Maintain counter stock as needed
- May assist with over-the-counter sales
Requirements:
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Basic computer skills
Working Environment:
The Warehouse Associate will work in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels. The work area is well-ventilated and well-lit. Warehouse employees may be exposed to various weather conditions and may be required to wear protective clothing. The position requires the use of heavy equipment and adherence to strict safety regulations.
Physical Requirements:
The Warehouse Associate will be required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds and use hand tools.
