Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is seeking a skilled Warehouse Stocker - Produce Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking produce on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service to internal and external customers

• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves

• Organizes and front-faces items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment

• Performs proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures

• Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages

• Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing

• Maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse by following a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath

• Continuously reviews the status of department floors for safety hazards and promptly and safely handles any spills and removes any trash

Physical Demands:

• Walking/standing on concrete up to 10 hours/day

• Frequently turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending

• Frequently pushing/pulling objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.

• Frequently lifting/carrying objects more than 60 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Requires frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures

• Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters)

• Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned
