Facilities Maintenance Manager - Student Housing

  • AllSearch Professional Staffing is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager for a student housing facility. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and safety of the living environment.
  • The Facilities Maintenance Manager will oversee the daily operations of a team of maintenance staff, groundskeepers, and external contractors to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of lead maintenance personnel.
  • Manage property maintenance functions, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and lighting inspections and repairs.
  • Direct maintenance technicians and outside service providers on various projects while managing inventory of necessary supplies.
  • Organize all maintenance-related tasks and contractor engagements.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules on a quarterly, bi-annual, and annual basis.
  • Implement and uphold all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions for the maintenance team.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety, health, and risk management logs in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide exceptional resident service through effective communication and professional interactions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • EPA 608 Universal certification is mandatory.
  • Certification as a Pool Operator may be necessary.
  • Preferred certifications include HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair, or Carpentry.
  • Additional credentials such as CAMT or APPA are preferred.
