Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in projects regarding federal and state grant funding opportunities and other sources of targeted funding, grant, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform operational and financial assessments of clients' grants-related compliance, systems, processes, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
  • Review program expenditures for allowability.
  • Work on a variety of financial, accounting, and compliance projects in various industries.
  • Perform industry and technical research for funding opportunities and the development of new client solutions.
  • Utilize technology and grants management systems to improve internal processes.
  • Deliver Forvis Mazars' commitment to an Unmatched Client Experience through timely and responsive communication with internal personnel and external clients.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business-related field with basic accounting knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
