Guest Room Attendant

Location: Wind Creek

The Guest Room Attendant is essential in ensuring the pristine condition of hotel accommodations in accordance with established standards. This role requires a blend of speed and precision while delivering top-notch service to guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrive on time for shifts dressed in the designated uniform.
  • Prepare the cleaning cart with all necessary supplies before commencing duties.
  • Adhere strictly to the Housekeeping department's cleaning procedures.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests and share information regarding hotel amenities.
  • Promptly report any maintenance concerns in guest rooms.
  • Collaborate with the Front Desk to accurately update room statuses.
  • Execute tasks with meticulous attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • Exhibit problem-solving abilities, follow directions closely, and work autonomously.
  • Complete documentation in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Safely operate equipment and comply with all safety guidelines.
  • Familiarize yourself with relevant rules and regulations.
  • Consistently uphold customer service excellence.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Employment Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Specific Position Qualifications:
  • Preferred 6 months of experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping roles.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods, perform physical tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in using a commercial vacuum cleaner.
  • Skilled in two-way radio and telephone communication.
  • Capable of following instructions with minimal oversight.
  • Physically fit to access all areas of the property and carry out various tasks.
  • Comfortable with prolonged standing and exposure to environmental conditions.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment while effectively interacting with others.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying at least 50 pounds independently.
  • Collaborates well in a team, follows directions, and maintains a positive demeanor.
  • Handles client interactions professionally and tactfully in challenging situations.
  • Meets qualifications for a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board license if required.
