Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of dental care services to patients, including routine cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to meet those needs.
  • Supervise and mentor dental assistants, hygienists, and residents to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental research and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Valid unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Current professional liability insurance.
  • Current certificate in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support.
  • Five years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare organization.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

Sit up to 6 hours per day; 1 hour at a time. Stand for up to 2 hours per day. Walk 6 hours per day; 10 minutes at a time. Consistently lift, carry, and push objects up to 10 lbs. Occasionally lift, carry, and push objects up to 75 lbs. Frequently stoop and bend. Frequently reach above shoulder level. Must be able to perceive attributes of an object through touch. Must be able to hear as it relates to normal conversation, and high and low frequencies. Must be able to see as it relates to general, near, far, color, and peripheral visions.
