Job Title: Activities Assistant

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a engaging and enriching experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing resident-centered activities and programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
  • Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity plans that meet the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Lead activities and events, such as exercise classes, arts and crafts, and entertainment programs.
  • Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities and programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity attendance.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • One year of experience in a senior living community or related field.
  • Ability to lead activities and motivate residents and staff to participate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
