We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our educational team near Port Lavaca, Texas. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of therapy sessions and materials.
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
  • Provide support in classroom activities and collaborate with teachers to integrate communication strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all school and district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • Valid Texas SLPA license.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an SLP.
