We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Packaging Specialist to join our team at Sealed Air Corporation. As a Technical Packaging Specialist, you will work closely with customers and our regional sales team to service equipment development and promote the sale of our packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with equipment troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance service using our protective materials.
  • Assist or coordinate/supervise customer personnel in equipment installation and train customers in equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitation.
  • Analyze packaging quality and production problems to determine if equipment, material, or product related.
  • Advise customers in establishing preventative maintenance programs and spare parts requirements.
  • Enhance customer relations with regular calls, value capture, audits of equipment, securing parts, and advice on packaging techniques per territory business plan.
  • Assist sales in supporting new products and opportunities.
  • Supporting sales and marketing with timely completion of all administrative reports.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma: BA/BS Degree preferred
  • 3 + years of High level of mechanical and troubleshooting expertise
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to Travel overnight

Additional Requirements

  • Self-sufficient and self-disciplined with a very positive attitude
  • Excellent mechanical skills and use of tools including voltmeter.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop existing business.
  • Packaging experience is a plus
  • Read and understand technical drawings and troubleshooting charts
  • Strong organization skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work with customers to solve problems
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks
  • Accomplished computer skills and MS Office knowledge
  • Occasional overnight traveling (meetings, training, service coverage)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish is a plus)
  • Good driving record
