Role Summary:As a Shuttle Driver at Christian Brothers Automotive, your primary responsibility will be to ensure safe and dependable transportation for our guests to and from our service center. You will operate our branded shuttle vehicle, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Exceptional customer service is paramount, as you will greet guests, assist them with boarding and alighting from the shuttle, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Learn and understand automotive service terminology and processes.
- Deliver a safe and reliable shuttle service for our esteemed guests.
- Provide respectful and courteous service in alignment with the values of Christian Brothers Automotive.
- Maintain a timely schedule for shuttle routes.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles.
- Support the shop with receiving and processing parts and other errands as required.
- Report any maintenance needs for the shuttle vehicle to the service manager.
- Keep the shuttle vehicle clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, vendors, and guests.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Meet insurance driving record requirements.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team spirit.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Dependability for a schedule that may include extended hours.
