About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM) board certified/eligible physician to join our team as part of the Department of Wellness and Preventive Medicine. Our team of collaborative and experienced ONMM specialists emphasizes a whole person approach for our patients' journey to optimal physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ONMM consultation for inpatient service and outpatient clinic
  • Lead didactic sessions for our ONMM3 residency program
  • Precept residents in our ONMM3 residency program
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of curriculum for osteopathic recognition of our four companion residency programs at South Pointe Hospital
  • Assist in the interview process for prospective incoming faculty and residents
  • Participate in recruiting efforts to extend and enhance the visibility and reputation of the ONMM department and residency at South Pointe Hospital
  • Engage in personal faculty development, including yearly attendance at conferences and courses
  • Make contributions to the advancement of knowledge and the development of osteopathic medicine through scientific research, national presentations, community service, and serving on national, state, and regional societies and committees
Requirements
  • DO or MD with AOBNMM or equivalent ONMM board certification or board eligibility
  • Basic cranial course certification from SCTF or OCA or equivalent AOBNMM approved course
  • Unrestricted active medical license and DEA certificate in Ohio
  • Practice experience treating a diverse patient population with OMT (OB, pediatrics, adults)
  • Previous clinical research experience preferred
