Our team of experienced and collaborative physicians emphasizes a whole person approach for our patients' journey to optimal physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide ONMM consultation for inpatient service and outpatient clinic
- Lead didactic sessions for our ONMM3 residency program
- Precept residents in our ONMM3 residency program
- Participate in the planning and delivery of curriculum for osteopathic recognition of our four companion residency programs at South Pointe Hospital
- Assist in the interview process for prospective incoming faculty and residents
- Participate in recruiting efforts to extend and enhance the visibility and reputation of the ONMM department and residency at South Pointe Hospital
- Engage in personal faculty development, including yearly attendance at conferences and courses
- Make contributions to the advancement of knowledge and the development of osteopathic medicine through scientific research, national presentations, community service, and serving on national, state, and regional societies and committees
- Compliance with professional standards and regulations including but not limited to, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety training
- Passion for teaching, collaboration, scholarly activity, and service
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- DO or MD with AOBNMM or equivalent ONMM board certification or board eligibility
- Basic cranial course certification from SCTF or OCA or equivalent AOBNMM approved course
- Unrestricted active medical license and DEA certificate in Ohio
- Practice experience treating a diverse patient population with OMT (OB, pediatrics, adults)
- Previous clinical research experience preferred
