Job Title: Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Specialist

Cleveland Clinic Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Specialist to join our team as part of the Department of Wellness and Preventive Medicine. Our team of experienced and collaborative physicians emphasizes a whole person approach for our patients' journey to optimal physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ONMM consultation for inpatient service and outpatient clinic
  • Lead didactic sessions for our ONMM3 residency program
  • Precept residents in our ONMM3 residency program
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of curriculum for osteopathic recognition of our four companion residency programs at South Pointe Hospital
  • Assist in the interview process for prospective incoming faculty and residents
  • Participate in recruiting efforts to extend and enhance the visibility and reputation of the ONMM department and residency at South Pointe Hospital
  • Engage in personal faculty development, including yearly attendance at conferences and courses
  • Make contributions to the advancement of knowledge and the development of osteopathic medicine through scientific research, national presentations, community service, and serving on national, state, and regional societies and committees
  • Compliance with professional standards and regulations including but not limited to, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety training
  • Passion for teaching, collaboration, scholarly activity, and service
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Requirements:
  • DO or MD with AOBNMM or equivalent ONMM board certification or board eligibility
  • Basic cranial course certification from SCTF or OCA or equivalent AOBNMM approved course
  • Unrestricted active medical license and DEA certificate in Ohio
  • Practice experience treating a diverse patient population with OMT (OB, pediatrics, adults)
  • Previous clinical research experience preferred
