- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, collaborating with support staff to ensure efficient prescription processing in compliance with regulations.
- Utilize advanced pharmacy systems for prescription processing, integrating clinical decision-making and medication management.
- Partner with the Clinical Program Team to implement off-site immunization clinics and community outreach initiatives.
- Ensure accurate processing of prescriptions, assisting with insurance claims and prior authorizations.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in inventory management and pharmaceutical ordering.
- Engage with customers, providing counseling and recommendations on over-the-counter products.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain pharmacy standards.
- Supervise pharmacy support staff, managing workflow to enhance customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with the Pharmacy Manager and team regarding promotional programs and health services.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy.
- Experience in retail pharmacy settings.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Valid CPR certification or basic life support training.
- Immunization certifications as per state regulations.
- Strong inventory management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in English communication related to job responsibilities.
