Job Description

As an Applications Engineering Intern at JR Automation, A Hitachi Group Company, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team of advanced automation integrators. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting and supporting other Applications/Quoting Engineers, learning from the most dedicated and technically competent engineers in the industry, and contributing to the design, build, program, and deployment of custom automated equipment and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update CAD model libraries and reference libraries.
  • Develop concepts with the team and support Applications Engineers with proposal development, vendor SOWs, and quotes.
  • Assist with concept renderings and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an engineering degree.
What You'll Bring
  • Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Pro Engineer preferred.
  • Experience reviewing and understanding drawings.
