We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to enhance and automate our manufacturing processes at Cogs, a leading company in power electronics manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency and maintain product quality.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform complex system tests to ensure seamless communication between actuators and controllers.
  • Select appropriate instruments to monitor and control manufacturing variables, and analyze process parameters and product data to identify deviations and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment while being able to work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain a safety-first approach and adhere to all facility safety instructions and good housekeeping practices.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of computer programming and software development, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex equipment problems.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and strong time-management abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and experience in managing tasks, prioritizing effectively, and working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and proven experience in manufacturing process automation.
