Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at a new construction building in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul. This 300-unit building will offer a variety of units, including affordable and market rate, in a luxury, resort-style environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall operations of the property, ensuring high-quality resident living and achieving long and short-term business goals.
  • Oversee staff and vendors, providing extensive training and support to all supervisees.
  • Assist with the application and rental process, monitor and ensure compliance with dwelling lease agreements, manage rental programs, and assure quality building and ground maintenance and security of the property.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that are consistent with regulations and established corporate practices.
  • Champion the use of quality management processes throughout all site operations.
  • Partner with Maintenance Technicians to ensure physical assets and grounds are operating at peak performance levels.
  • Prepare the annual budget for the property, analyzing and evaluating financial statements, reviewing current and projected marketing information, and accessing operational reports that establish historic and predict performance patterns.
  • Assess capital needs for the property and operate the property within budgeted income and expense guidelines.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of marketing plans for all communities within assigned portfolio, including reputation management and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in multifamily property management.
  • Highly skilled in operating both market rate and affordable units.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing people and/or teams.
  • Proficiency with property management software platforms, preferably Yardi.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Enthusiastic and motivational leadership abilities in managing teams of people to succeed.
  • Proficient attention to detail, highly organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Strong financial aptitude and analytical skills.
