Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. This role involves evaluating, assessing, and treating students with communication disorders associated with intellectual disabilities and autism. The successful candidate will work independently, assess, and write IEP goals, and develop individualized communication systems within a multi-disciplinary team.

About the Role

  • Evaluate and assess students with communication disorders, including those with intellectual disabilities and autism.
  • Develop and implement individualized communication systems, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and provide treatment plans for students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure understanding and implementation of IEP goals.

Requirements

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or initiation of Clinical Fellowship year.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
