We are seeking a Part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) in person for a school-based assignment in Washington, DC to join our team in treating and assessing school-based needs. You will have a caseload of approximately nine school students to provide services, develop IEPs, and assess - Below average caseload size, supportive, inclusive school district; it's the ideal position

Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and treatment for speech/language disorders.
  • Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy.
  • Write clinical SOAP notes.
  • Attend and write IEPs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Current Maryland SLP License.
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders. CFY's accepted and encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with communication disorders.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and clinical staff.
  • Ability to build rapport with school teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, commitment, and organizational skills.
