Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Drafter to join our team at Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings for use in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software, developing technical drawings from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineers and architects to design products using engineering and manufacturing techniques, and enhance architectural plans by incorporating knowledge of building techniques.
  • Documentation and Review: Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects, specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
  • Supervision and Work Environment: Work under the supervision of Senior Leadership, and may be required to visit job sites and be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Minimum 2-year degree with at least 5 years of HVAC/Plumbing estimation experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office products, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and previous experience as a drafter.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and listen. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
