Job Summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans for construction projects using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical drawings from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to design products using engineering and manufacturing techniques.
  • Enhance architectural plans by incorporating knowledge of building techniques and materials.
  • Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects.
  • Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year degree with at least 5 years of HVAC/Plumbing estimation experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office products.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Previous experience as a Drafter is essential.

Work Environment

The Drafter will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The position may require occasional travel to job sites and exposure to various weather conditions.

Physical Demands

The Drafter will be required to sit, stand, talk, and listen frequently. Occasional lifting of office products and supplies up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
