We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Roadway and Drainage Expert. As a key member of our infrastructure project management team, you will be responsible for developing engineering designs, generating plans, and performing construction quantity estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Develop engineering designs, including plan, profile, cross-section, paving, grading, and utility details.
- Generate engineering plans using AutoCAD C3D and other design tools.
- Perform construction quantity estimates and coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams and subconsultants.
- Cross-train in all civil engineering disciplines, including pavement, grading, drainage, water, signing, and pavement marking, storm water pollution prevention, and traffic control.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices related to design, construction, and maintenance of public works projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD C3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer (MicroStation/GEOPAK), and ArcGIS.
- Ability to apply local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to engineering design and construction administration.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on interacting well with diverse populations and providing excellent customer service.
