- Advanced proficiency with design-related software such as MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, Geopak, and Corridor Modeler.
- Proficient in reading and understanding surveys, drawings, and legal descriptions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision, focusing on client service and project delivery.
- Highly motivated to learn and grow professionally in a supportive team environment.
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build projects is a valuable asset.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- 10 + years of engineering experience in transportation/design with strong technical skills in roadway design.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred or EIT with 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience with regulatory systems, policies, and procedures.
This position predominantly involves up to 8 hours per day at a computer workstation, with occasional standing and walking. The employee may occasionally lift lightweight office supplies and materials, typically not exceeding 20 pounds. The office environment is indoors, characterized by controlled temperatures and minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
