Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team at Elite Recruiting & Consulting Services. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite supervision and coordination of all construction activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and EM regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and material suppliers, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Attend pre-construction site visits, pre-final inspections, and final inspections, ensuring project quality and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular quality control and progress meetings, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Perform USACE EM385 three phases of control, ensuring project compliance and quality.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a project manager/superintendent for a general contracting firm, overseeing multi-discipline commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
  • Computer literacy, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to create project schedules, pre-construction, and product submittals, with knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and Smartsheet.
  • OSHA 30-hour training and 5 years of continuous construction industry safety experience, with a focus on supervising and managing general construction.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance: Pass Background Check – Secret Clearance preferred.
