Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Representative will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of aircraft maintenance and alterations at Guardian Flight's Repair Station. This role requires strong technical and regulatory knowledge, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve repair station work order forms and associated documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate aircraft major alteration and/or repair document packages, and perform research to compile a complete approved data file.
  • Provide technical and regulatory assistance for all major repairs and major alterations applied to company/customer aircraft.
  • Audit aircraft maintenance records and generate repair station work orders for aircraft major maintenance and modification events.
  • Perform a detailed quality review of GFL Repair Station Work Order, documentation packages prior to aircraft return to service.
  • Assist Part 135 Quality Departments with generating, revising, and administering aircraft Weight and Balance reports and associated Equipment Lists after major repair or alteration.
  • Assist field representatives interpreting technical data and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Notify Aircraft Owner/Operator to remove an aircraft from service when an error has been committed regarding the proper documentation of maintenance or an alteration that is in violation of the policy and procedures of the manual and/or applicable 14 CFR regulations.
  • Assist with the removal of any suspect or unapproved aircraft components and/or parts from inventory and ensure such parts are segregated to ensure they are not installed on customer aircraft.

  • Strong technical and regulatory knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with little to no direct supervision.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
