About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our team at JSR Tech Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our FAST platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and build applications using modern design patterns and architectural principles, ensuring alignment with the latest industry standards and vendor roadmap.
  • Develop high-quality, well-documented code adhering to Prudential standards and vendor direction, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
  • Craft business logic and integration patterns with the Prudential Ecosystem, utilizing modern integration, data, and security patterns.
  • Design and implement unit, integration tests, and functional automation, researching and resolving problems discovered by quality assurance or product support.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and identify opportunities to innovate and improve our platform, coaching others and embedding learning and innovation in our day-to-day work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes necessary for making sound decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, and React, Springboot, and other relevant frameworks.
