We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dining Service Associate to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living. As a Dining Service Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with residents in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing exceptional service and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of our menu and make suggestions to residents, taking food and drink orders with accuracy.
  • Deliver food in a timely manner, ensuring residents are enjoying their meals and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Collect payment from residents and guests when necessary, entering orders into our POS system for transmittal to the kitchen team.
  • Maintain impeccable personal grooming and hygiene standards, practicing safe food handling skills and adhering to department of health regulations.
  • Perform dining room checklists to ensure readiness, cleanliness, safety, and compliance, setting up and resetting tables according to dining room procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable of specialty diet needs and know where to obtain information, practicing safe food handling at all times.
  • Assist the food preparation team as needed, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our residents and guests.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred, with previous experience in restaurant, dining hospitality, and/or full-service senior living a plus.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure, performing high-quality work while unsupervised.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering orders in a timely fashion and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
