About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Manager to join our Retail Analytics team at Nielsen Consumer LLC. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for delivering timely outcomes and customer value through data and analytics, driving the overall customer experience and elevating NielsenIQ's performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently complete analyses using NielsenIQ's proprietary tools and secondary data to develop insights that drive client outcomes
  • Drive engagement on client and internal NielsenIQ strategic projects and initiatives
  • Develop expertise and ability to advise industry leading clients on marketing plans and industry trends, participating in client discussions and presentations as applicable
  • Build strong partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to your clients
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate across NielsenIQ teams and drive sales with clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4-8 years' experience in FMCG, CPG and Retail industries and application to client-related business issues
  • Strong analytical aptitude
  • Experience in client service environment and ability to develop, maintain and grow client relationships in complex situations
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software
Qualifications
  • Skilled & polished communicator, including client issues and presentations
  • Able to maintain positive client relationships in complex situations & resolve client issues
  • Strong project management skills & ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Logic, deductive reasoning, problem solving & critical thinking skills
  • Sense of urgency & accountability to drive client outcomes
  • Able to synthesize data & simplify findings to solve client business issues
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
  • Willingness to learn or already able to analyze large data sets, preferably utilizing SQL, Snowflake, R, and/or similar tools
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience with pricing management and/or price optimization strongly preferred
  • Ability to conduct client trainings, clearly sharing NielsenIQ tools and services with clients
  • Ability to notice, build on, and pass along sales opportunities
  • Interest in innovation to support continuous improvement of NielsenIQ products and services
  • Knowledge of statistical approaches
