About this Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Premise Health. As a Behavioral Health Professional, you will play a critical role in evaluating, developing, and implementing treatment plans for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize a strengths-based approach to assist clients in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
- Provide psychotherapy or counseling services to individuals, groups, couples, or families, as needed.
- Interact with clients to assist in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
- Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, screeners, records, and reference materials.
- Utilize evidence-based intervention methods within the scope of practice to meet the needs of our diverse population.
- Counsel individuals regarding problems such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, to modify behavior or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment.
- Engage clients in collaborative discussion of treatment goals and desired outcomes.
- Participate as an active team member in the clinical care team, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and coordination of referrals.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
- Licensed mental health clinicians, including LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, LPCC, and LCPC.
- Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health, including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism, and drug dependency.
- Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of our population.
- Experience identifying, preventing, and treating suicidal behaviors.
- Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.
