Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Coordinate the day's work flow and distribute duties to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Inspect guest rooms to ensure they meet the highest quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Assist with performing inventory of linen and supplies and report any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the completion of performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
  • Use judgment and experience to distribute work, assign rooms and duties to staff, and make decisions to ensure the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.
  • Coordinate activities with the front desk and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Report any maintenance needs to the facilities team and ensure that employees are using cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Find coverage for callouts or when house counts increase and perform other related duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • 6 months experience in a similar housekeeping position is desirable.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Engaging and caring personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work on feet for an extended period.
  • Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
  • Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
  • Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25lbs.
Compensation

The compensation for this position is $21.50/Hr.
