Key Responsibilities

Under the direct oversight of the Systems Manager or other supervisory personnel, you will be tasked with ensuring a hygienic and secure environment within the Distribution Center, with a primary focus on the warehouse area. This role is deemed compliance critical, necessitating adherence to all division, corporate, and regulatory standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness: Sweep and mop warehouse floors, ensuring the area remains tidy and organized.
  • Waste management: Regularly empty and replace trash bags and receptacles throughout the warehouse.
  • Trash handling: Move waste from the trash conveyor to the compactor.
  • Support maintenance tasks: Assist with maintenance-related duties as directed by the Systems Manager.
  • Outdoor cleanliness: Collect and dispose of litter around the exterior of the Distribution Center.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, safety regulations, and DEA guidelines.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared to work overtime as needed and participate in physical inventory counts.
  • Additional duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

A high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Typically, this role requires less than one year of relevant work experience.

  • Effective communication: Ability to convey information clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Direction comprehension: Capability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong ability to interact positively with others.
  • Organizational skills: Attention to detail and good organizational capabilities.
