We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Baker Assistant to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting our Bakers in the preparation and production of high-quality cakes, ensuring that our guests receive the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Bakers in the preparation of raw ingredients and equipment for baking
- Place cake pans in a hot oven and monitor the baking process
- Accurately prepare and package baked cakes for display and sale
- Maintain a clean and sanitized baking area, including tables, equipment, and tools
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy weights (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate commercial-grade ovens and other bakery equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience as a Baker or in a related role
- Knowledge of basic units of measurement and ability to follow recipes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A competitive hourly rate of $11.00
