Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team at Baptist Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse's competencies.
  • Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Nurse Permit.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Other certifications may be required depending on department hired.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience in Telemetry nursing.
  • Proficient in use of computer software to include electronic patient records.
