Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team at Baptist Medical Center. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to a group of patients assigned to the nurse, based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse's competencies.
  • Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Nurse Permit.
  • Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS/TNCC, PALS/ENPC, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., Fetal Monitoring, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certifications, depending on department hired.
