Job Title: Advanced Practice Wound Provider

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Wound Provider to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality wound care services to our nursing center residents.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide acute and chronic wound care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with other medical providers.
  • Collaborate with Center Leadership to achieve the Center's mission of improving the lives we touch through the delivery of high-quality healthcare and everyday compassion.
  • Work collaboratively with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient-specific medical care.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program and licensed as a registered nurse.
  • Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by being a nursing graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master's Degree in Nursing and a concentration and specialty track of Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • Wound Certification: CWS, WOCN, or appropriate wound certification, or actively pursuing wound certification with APN wound experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in wound care, working with the adult or geriatric population is preferred.
