We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Wound Care Center team at Christus St. Vincent Medical Group. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and professional team committed to providing exceptional, personalized care to our patients and community.

Our Wound Care Center addresses underlying medical issues that may delay healing by using advanced wound dressings, controlling bacteria growth, providing vascular, diagnostic, and interventional procedures, and using hyperbaric oxygen therapy to facilitate healing in certain types of wounds.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather medical history and physical data on patients
  • Perform a complete physical exam, interpret and integrate patient data to determine appropriate diagnostic & therapeutic plans and procedures, and record findings
  • Consult with other caregivers to coordinate patient care
  • Perform sharp debridement of wounds, application of skin grafts/substitutes, and advise patients regarding wound care, health practices, and illness prevention
