Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at House of Sport. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive and inclusive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and department managers to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer engagement and loyalty, including in-store events, promotions, and community outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to create a positive and inclusive store culture that reflects the values of House of Sport.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Partner with buying and merchant teams to increase regional relevant offerings and products.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of sales associates and department managers.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, traffic counts, and customer conversion through strategic programming.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of retail management experience
  • 1-3 years of customer-focused experience
