We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our nursing team at The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard. As a Substance Abuse Nurse, you will play a critical role in the assessment and management of medical detoxification for adult patients.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients struggling with addiction.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
  • Administer medication, perform assessments, and provide education to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure
  • A minimum of one year of professional nursing experience, preferably in a detoxification or rehabilitation setting
  • A Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or a related field (desirable)
  • The ability to obtain certifications in IV therapy and Basic Life Support (BLS)
