We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Riverside Medical Clinic. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our multi-specialty group setting.
Responsibilities- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patient charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examinations, assist physicians with procedures, and clean and sterilize equipment.
- Administer prescribed medication, document time, dosage, and route on patient charts, and observe patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, initiate intravenous lines, and discontinue lines under the direction of a physician or allied health professional.
- Travel between departments and facilities as needed, inventory and order medical supplies, and maintain current licensure and certification.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Current California licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing.
- Two years' experience preferred working as an LVN in a multi-specialty group setting.
